Save the earth....

Suggestion event to save the earth by Yen Voon:

Most of us are going to leave this beautiful University, beautiful Sabah soon. We cannot bring back everything, except memories. So why not we 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) those stuff cannot be brought back?

Recently, we can feel the weather is getting hotter and hotter, climate change faster than our imagination, disasters had killed million or even billion of lives in past few years. This could happen to us or our love one, may be, one day. Save the Mother Earth is the responsibility of young generation in 21st century. Prevent global warming before it is too late.

We invite all of you bring any recyclable things to the suggestion date to SSMP on 15 May 2010, Saturday. 8am to 12pm. We need volunteers, support from you. We make this as our last beautiful memories as in 4 years of SSMP life, University Life. Thank you.

HN2006 batch photo taking session.

Just as a reminder, tomorrow will be the batch photo session.
As the time is late evening, hence we need to be fast to catch the sunlight before the day becomes dark.

A few important photo will be taken tomorrow like below:

1. Food tech group photos
2. Food science group photos
3. Batch group photos (Food tech + Food Science)
4. Rojak '10 Team members group photos
5. Gangs photos
6. etc

Photos will be taken at the Dataran Dewan Canselor, The Stair towards Twin Tower, Dewan Canselor socalled main door.

Besides, the photo session will be carried out by ourselves without any hired photographer which coast us RM 400. So if you have own camera, please bring along. If you have friends that would volunteer to take photo for us, we will be very happy.

Date: 4 May 2010, Tuesday( after the final year, final sem, final final exam, food law)
Time: 5.10pm until 7.00pm
Attire: Up to you
Gather place: Dataran Dewan Canselor UMS

Hopefully the photo taking session will have 100% attendance as it is after our final exam.
It will be a total lost if the photo is without you.
It also will be our last chance i think...

Appreciation and Farewell Dinner!

Four years of University life in SSMP...

A lot of knowledge, experience we gained through the years and effort.
Along the journey, we being guided by our lecturers, our tutors, our friends, and some make us stronger in a different way like lab assistants and some just be there for us when we need them.

Here a suggestion:

Appreciation and Farewell Dinner

Date: 15 or 16 May 2010 (Sat/Sun), the weekend after viva. OR
17 or 18 May 2010 (Mon/Tues), the weekdays

Venue: SSMP Foyer OR any other place...
Style : Self prepared dinner (prepare starting from morning in SSMP lab) OR
Ask for catering with some fee collected from our batch.
Financial: based on what style we want to have (self prepared dinner, low budget and can fun to prepare together)
Program: Dinner and some fun game.

How is the suggestion?
Please give some response and we do need all people to involve to make the dinner a success!
