A story from SARAWAK...

My LI was n still superb, til i dunno how to describe d. really no words to describe. Nway Im doin my LI at JKN Kuching, SARAWAK (Im PROUD)...There's alot of us here. Della, Cecelia, Mitchil and Nisa working in lab (sori guys, i revelead ur name w/o permission). Me, Aziemah and Siok Hui share d same suppervisor. And our working shcedules very flexible. and im not working today..haha. so i make dis as part of my work. Basically, we all have to rotate ourselves to many different places. so far i've been working at 4 clinics and JKN office. we also have to go food quality lab n dietetic unit.

I have finish my clinic duty. both Aziemah n Siok Hui still waiting for their turn. we have to rotate. Well, i really gained a lot of experience in clinics. Not only bout nutrition, bt also health n medical stuff. All the clinics have different stories to tell. and alot of things came unexpectedly. Basically, our duty is to give nutrition advice to malnutrition kids and anemic mother. its like a doctor punya job ler. We also have to give talk and do cooking demo. me n aziemah were attached at the same clinic in february. we saw a women gave birth. damn, it was scary man. i was n still terrified til now. u guys imagine, i was sweating in AIRCOND delivery room. i think my sweats dripped more than the blood. Aziemah is more excited than me. She took the front view of d process (like really looked at the vagina) and i only see from the side (but still very clear). The whole process was so exciting. It was like watching final world cup match. All the nurses there shout "PUSH PUSH" til the baby come out. After the baby come out waaa.....so relieved. and i was suddenly stop sweating. haha...he is a HE. the baby is a boy and his name is Luke. Both me and Aziemah claimed he is our baby. Aftr the baby come out, the nurses cleaned him up and put under light. while the other nurse pull out the placenta from the mother's womb. gosh, it was smelly n disgusting. The placenta is dark blue in colour, almost black. They have to make sure that there's no debris from placenta left inside mother's womb. toxicity. Im still traumatized by the event. guess i rather adopt a child. african maybe..haha.

Actually I just came back from my final clinic duty. Its somewhere out there (lol) and it 2hrs drive from Kuching. So i have to stay there for 2 weeks at the barrack house. Waaa...I was really like a survivor. That place called Sematan, a fishing village. At first i kinda like sad n worried coz thinking of life without astro n streamyx is sux. Nway it was ok accept for mosquitoes n noisy rumah papan. At nite the nurses on call have to rush to clinic if got patient ring them. So they will run and the house is shaking...thats include my bed. so cant really sleep for 2 weeks. And it was pretty scary. The barrack house is just next to a cemetery. Not long before i came got baby died. And a man also died. Buried at the cemetery. Every nite I was the last person to sleep. Sometimes my bulu on my bulu-less arm also standing...lol. cut the crappp...Hmm...I was abit jobless thr coz less patient and no anemic pregnant mother. So my focus is just towards malnutrition cases. I gave talk on malnutrition and underweight kids to food basket family. It was fun. Finally, i have built up my confidence talking in front of people. After the talk, the nurses began to distribute the food basket coz its time for them to collect. On that same day, the nurse bring me to home visit one of the food basket receiver. It was the worst case of the clinic. The baby is 9 mth old and under severe malnutrition. Kecik betul..Damn i cant believe what i saw. Their house got no door and windows. Its just open. The floor very sticky and dirty. i was wearing my most expensive working pants on dat day. kinda regret..haha. The house also no electricity and clean water. They depend on the rain and water from dunno where. But this family arr...haiyo, make you heart-attack only. The parents so irresponsible and not educated. The right word is STUPID...really...father is kaki judi and the mother buat bodoh all the time. Very lazy women. U noe wat, on the same day they got food basket, within that few hours they already open 3 packets of biscuits. They didnt eat them, play masak-masak instead. maybe inspiration from my cooking demo. I was so mad. And so did the nurses. they were nagging at the mother non-stop. I just stare blankly. We found some biscuits thrown outside. Not only biscuits, the kids also play wif marjerin and flour. Sigh. They are so poor and yet dun appreciate the food. They have no proper toilet. The mother said the toilet bowl is blocked. So im wondering how they do their business. And the toilet is open. So anyone interested in watching free show can go there. lol..haiz, enough of this stupid story. sakit hati jer...The nurses at the clinic all eat alot. At first i dun really wanna eat wif them coz they eat all the time. But when i refused to eat they started to force me. so eventually i have to join them. Before i go there, i lost 2kg in less than a mth. but aftr i came back i gained back that 2kg..sigh....all my effort exercising n healthy diet vanished=(

Actually got alot of things to share. But i lazy to type d. So in a quick glance, here wat i do. I went travel alot, follow my boss go visit clinics to check and monitor malnutrition records and anything to do wif nutrition. Under the scope of Pegawai Zat Makanan. Basically we travel alot. I also went to PLKN camp. I followed my boss do inspection there. Check whether the cafe is clean and see how they prepare the food for the PLKN people. I also joined some talk and meetings. Its complicated so better dun explain. Arghh..im tired d. so dats all for now. Chiao...
